Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto menyebut Indonesia harus mampu memproduksi sendiri barang-barang berteknologi tinggi seperti mobil, motor, hingga komputer. Hal itu disampaikan saat memberi pengarahan dalam Rakornas Pemerintah Pusat dan Daerah Tahun 2024 di Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Kamis (7/11/2024).
Dia menyatakan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara terbesar keempat terbesar di dunia dengan kekayaan alam yang tidak dimiliki bangsa lain.
“Terus terang saja, saya dalam hati, saya tidak mau terima bahwa bangsa ke empat di dunia, bangsa yang diberi kekayaan begitu besar oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa dikasih semua elemen untuk menjadi negara maju tidak bisa bikin mobil, tidak bisa bikin motor, tidak bisa bikin komputer, saya tidak terima,” kata Prabowo dikutip dari keterangan resmi, Minggu (10/11/2024).
Prabowo juga menegaskan ingin mewujudkan Indonesia menjadi negara maju. Terutama sebagai pemimpin pemerintahan Indonesia dalam lima tahun mendatang.
“Saya bersyukur karena sekarang saya diberi kesempatan untuk mengarahkan, untuk mewujudkan hal-hal yang saya anggap kritikal bagi kelangsungan hidup bangsa Indonesia,” tutur Prabowo.
Adapun kegiatan rakornas oleh Kementerian Dalam Negeri tersebut dihadiri 5.360 peserta dari berbagai instansi dan jajaran pemerintahan. Selain perwakilan dari kementerian/lembaga dan instansi pusat, Mendagri Tito menjabarkan bahwa rakornas juga dihadiri oleh perwakilan Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) dari seluruh daerah di Tanah Air.
Pelaksaan rakornas ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan sinergi dan kolaborasi antar instansi guna mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan yang lebih efisien serta kesiapan dalam menghadapi tantangan nasional di masa depan.
